About Herp Nation
Herp Nation Media is a Sacramento-based company committed to providing relevant herpetological content to the reptile and amphibian hobbyist community. We strive to serve these communities by 1) continuously creating and publishing rich, quality content 2) by providing educational rather than sensational media and 3) by promoting conservation and responsible interaction with the world’s herpetological resources.
Who We Are
Herp Nation Media was launched in 2010 by principals Scott Waters and Jeremiah Easter. Together they launched Herp Nation Magazine, the current flagship product of Herp Nation media, which was followed shortly thereafter by Herp Nation Online, an internet resource contributing blogs, news stories, and also Herp Nation Live—A video media project through partnership with anchorman Dan Krull. Herp Nation Media is associated with Field Herp Forum through co-founder Scott Waters who founded the Field Herp Forum community website in 2004.

Herp Nation Media exists to serve the Herpetological community, promote education, and to promote the global conservation of all reptiles and amphibians.
